  • when was this?

  • @kylecascadden The date is shown on the video clip. It was July 9, 2010.

  • great catch Brett

  • @hhp8 Thanks!

  • Great Video and nice catch. but thats weird...why do you have like 7 units up front and then have two on the back? Why not put 2 more online upfront.

  • @NSrailfan1 The DPUs in the back are used to help climb Cajon Pass. They are also moving power back up to Barstow. The BARWAT comes down from Barstow loaded, so they need the extra power. They return the extra power to Barstow on the lighter (empty) WATBAR.

  • @bcanedy cool! thanks

  • @surfliner460 agreed

  • Nice catch Brett! Those new CEM cars look pretty nice despite they look very identical to the P42s.

  • @bcanedy I think I can get some strings pulled to get that to happen haha!

  • @CoasterFan2105 No, they're still stainless steel. They're just wrapped in plastic still. Personally, I want to see someone Photoshop them into a giant Athearn box that sits on a flat car. Now THAT would be funny!
