  • I love his playing but the problem with these videos is sound quality. There's not a lot of bass and the warmth of the song is lost. As he enters the chorus he hits the 6th and it creates a new sound but this didn't capture it well. I'm complaining too much, great work anyway and thanks.

  • most lap top audio don't cut the mustard hereabouts, and i cringe to think of how most people perceive youtube in particular = in an attenuated, anemic, and all together bass-less and paltry manner. do yrselves right and get an old (say nad) stereo amp and plug youtube into it, and listen with real (akg) headphones, thus making the grade comparable with the virtuosic music which is offered in profusion, gratis, holy cow!

  • @navanski better yet, go see him in person and then when you hear this crappy youtubed audio, you can just think of how it sounded in real life! that's what I did. :-)

  • @123Agentorange I think it is CGDGGD

  • does anyone know what his guitar is tuned to? would love to learn this...

  • @DAF460 Ya think?

  • he plays the guitar! :P

  • @wellspout All very well but you're still trying to make a purse from a sow's ear. YouTube uses compressed audio which means it cuts a good bit off the top end and a huge amount of the harmonics are simply omitted. Oh and I use a Denon amp with my vintage AKG145 electrostatic/dynamic 'phones. Does the Denon make me a bad person? Or is it the AKG's superb top end but slight lack of bass that I should be worried about? Don't start me on MP3s or IEMs.
