EMCCC 2010: Individualisation and personalisation of colorectal cancer treatments

Professor van Cutsem discusses the importance of molecular markers in clinical practice, what factors are important in deciding the best treatment for colon cancer and how best to individualise and personalise cancer treatment.

The first Europacolon patients meeting in Lisbon is discussed. This will be the first time bowel cancer patients have had the opportunity to gather and talk about a number of aspects key to this cancer.
