I just rebuilt this Raptor 50 after buying it used, and even though I thought I checked everything twice, I missed the fact that the upper Jesus Bolt was missing! I was very lucky nobody was hurt, and only a couple broken links. A very important lesson learned cheaply.
So Jesus was with you!

Great post. Made me laugh. You were very cool looking at the rotors going sky high!

There are so many things that WILL go wrong during learning to fly R/C helis, and you know they are all potentially fatal. But this is just plain stupidity. The lead weights inside the main blades are bonafide projectiles when "let loose" Once, they hit the inside of my carhood (by chance it was opened...12 volts...) so the windscreen was saved! A minor "reversed" dent was the result.

if you wee standing above that it would take a good chunk of your head off.. scary shit ! and i found it funny where you were more worried about finding your rotor assembly than your raptor :D was any damage done to the blades ?
