Flying round the clouds with Andy - simple pleasures. Well 700hits in 5 days.. whats going on?
www.landingshort.com 362 hits alone!
I see there is some discussion on that site regards legality and that It's a Spanish site.
In the UK, one can switch (in Class G airspace) from VFR to IFR, no IR required, no flight plan required and no clearance is required.
The UK has a National rating, the "IMC rating".
On the above flight I cant remember if the pilot had a Traffic or Deconfliction (or back then it was called a Radar Information Service or Radar Advisory Service) from a local Lower Airspace Radar Service (LARS) unit. I suspect he did.
And, Im pretty sure that the ANO is rather different than the RCA in spain :-)
Fine. Would like to go on a flight like that.
