Iris F-14 Tutorial 2: Compresser stalls

another tutorial for the Iris F-14 Tomcat. I will show you what happens when you enter a compresser stall and how to fix it quickly and get flying again

A compressor stall is a situation of abnormal airflow resulting from a stall of the aerofoils within the compressor. Stall is found in dynamic compressors, particularly axial compressors, as used in jet engines and turbocharged reciprocating engines.

Compressor stalls result in a loss of compressor performance, which can vary in severity from a momentary engine power drop (occurring so quickly it is barely registered on engine instruments) to a complete loss of compression (compressor surge) necessitating a reduction in the fuel flow to the engine.

Just paid 50 bucks to get this thing and the engine keeps shutting down after I start it with ctrl e, it runs for a few seconds and then just shuts off which kills all my functions like landing gear retract. If it happens in the air I cant even get the engines to restart with ctrl e like its telling me to. I think I waisted 50 bucks.

@libidomosquito with the realism you can not just press ctrl-e. you must start it up manually. check my other video on how to start it up.
