@MACKBOOK123456 Fallout 3 was the first one I played, but 3 was made by Bethesda and got permission from the first makers to make the game and they wanted it to be a fallout story so they used something SIMILAR to the original

Locate the file in the steamapps folder/fallout and right click on FALLOUTW file select compatibility run on windows 98 and run at 256 colours then apply and save this should help.
