  • This is not the country's oldest church serving African-Americans. You only had to walk one block away to find Mothe Zion AME. It is 2 years older than Abyssinian.

    The First African Baptist Church was founded in Savannah, GA by slaves in 1859.

    Journalism RESEARCH is still important. A simple Google search would have told you that.
