  • Yes they look better through the eyepiece than the video.

  • This is why I put this video up, I got this telescope at a great price and I had a hard time finding videos that were shot through it. i wanted to be able to give other people interested in this telescope an idea what they would see through it.

  • Sure

  • I want to buy this telesope soon! Can I ask you a few questions, please?

  • can you link where you got you Barlow 2x scope? Im about to buy this telescope and dont want to buy the wrong barlow.

    Thanks!

  • I have this scope too but I am having trouble finding a protective case/bag for the scope. I do not want to spend a whole heap of money either, can you recommend me one?

    Great shot of Jupiter!

  • Just a small note:I also own the SLT-130mm. Aperture Celestron GOTO. 130mm. Aperture=5.1 inches,127mm. Aperture= 5.0 inches atF/5.0 or 650mm.Focal Length. Also you can do Auto-Guidance or Manual Guidance with the SLT-130 Computerized.Use a Celestron BinoViewer where the left 1.25" Stereo-Draw tube is your C.C.D. Camera and your right Stereo-Draw tube is your Illuminated Reticle or Guiding C.C.D. Camera. Also use a "Barlow 2x" before your Newtonian Reflector Bino-viewer is inserted, focus achieved!

  • Are you using any filter ?

  • Really impressive. I've had some small refractors and thinking of a larger one but all the videos seem to show reflectors as beating them hands down on planets. Then I thought of a Mak but that short tube reflector is almost as portable. Most informative, thanks.

  • @DusterG20 do planets look better through the telescope than in this video? I picked it up last night but I'm debating whether to get the dobsonian telescope and take this one back.... the meade 10 inch lightbridge i was thinking.
