MGS3 on PCSX2 (test)

While being a PC gamer, I do still have a PS2 and a few games. In light of that fact, I decided to download and use PCSX2 although I do need to do some tweaking of the settings for which one is the audio.

Frames Per Second:

While recording: 18-24
Not recording: 32-65

Game capture:
Fraps 3.0

Video Editing:
Sony Vegas Pro 9.0c

Audio Editing:
Sony Acid Pro 7.0c

I didn't download the actually. I have a real copy of the game, just used Magic ISO to rip the game onto my PC and saved it as a .iso image. =)

in the main menu why was there an icon that says 'snake vs. monkey'?

It's actually a mini game Ape Escape series where you're Solid Snake and you have to go around shooting monkeys with tranquilizers...kinda weird but fun. ^.^

After completing it, you get a monkey mask

It already comes pre-configured with BIOS, plugins and such...it's actually what I'm using too. =)

never had chance to play it due to never owning a PS3 and nearly everyone I know around where I am are 360 fanboys.

Just don't see the point in buying a PS3 when the only game to date I'd want to buy is MGS4...others that have come/gone I haven't been interested in or they've been out for PC. XD

Yeah Fraps can be annoying sometimes. Better than Xfire's recorder though.

Thanks, just trying to tweak a few settings...Fraps killlls the frame rate while using PCSX2 more than while playing a normal PC game. XD
