Keep going. You need to clear the Liberal party and all its lap dogs out Nowra first. Business men who benefit from the poor socio economics of the captive populace and claim to work for the social good (you know all those "clubs" and "community groups" and "boards") but are busy lining their pockets with the proceeds of kids welfare cheques and the subsidies they get from the (Labor) government. Dogs and hyopcrites .Nowra needs a name change and a big round of terminal prostate cancer.

@rooksey09 Way to respond to a year old post. By the way if you want me to take you seriously atleast spell and talk like you have more education past grade 1. You sound like an illiterate drunk.

@rooksey09 I have lived in nowra since I was born, I am now 18. And its not the landscapes that make nowra a shithole. Once you head away from the middle of nowra its a somewhat good town. Its the goverment housing and drunks that make it a shithole. Thats some fine language you got there.

Dear Oilpond
It's clear you have a lot of potential as a creative writer. Perhaps work on this, extend yourself, build the narrative.
A good novel has a hero (a protagonist) who 'wants' something. And an 'obstacle', that has to be gotten past. And a 'helper' who will get the hero past the obstacle. I can see your hero, I can see the 'want/s' (some people suggest a need to separate wants from needs), I can see the obstacle. Hope you find a helper. You have to recognise a helper and be nice.

no, he didn't - I didn't :-)
but it was good to work to achieve change, with previous regime entrenched for much of 30 years with sense of entitlement to place. The new team in place has yet to prove itself... cheers D
