Video was shot inside the Fort Wayne sewers. You can see the wheels of the remote controlled camera as it is stuck in grease that's building up in the pipes. Fort Wayne City Utilities is asking residents to avoid sending fats, oils and grease (FOG) down the kitchen sink or flushing it down the toilet. Instead they should be thrown in the trash. The City of Fort Wayne spends more than an half million dollars a year cleaning grease out of our sewer lines. When grease gets into the sewer it can harden and build up, causing blockages in sewer lines and even home plumbing.
