Beauty and the Beak

The Bald Eagle Beauty's beak was shot off in Alaska leaving her unable to feed herself. Birds of Prey NW is fitting her with a prosthetic beak. For the person who thinks no one would care if it were something other than an Eagle, I just wanted to say that we just replaced the bill of a duck that was missing a good portion of the top bill. And it wasn't even a wild duck, even though we are a wildlife facility. We adopted him as a project because he needed help and no one else in the area knew what to do with him. So it's not just eagles that are getting help.
