Lakshmi Chant (Indepth Version)

Lakshmi is the Goddess of prosperity, wealth, and all that is beautiful.

Friday is Lakshmi's Day of the Week (although you can use this chant any day of the week!)!. Her color is PINK. She can create miracles of prosperity in your life!

While you chant, offer her candlelight, flower petals or flowers and incense! Place them in your right hand and circle them counter-clockwise in front of her image. If you do not have an image or a statue, use this one or use your imagination. Then lay them your offerings at Her feet and make a prayer deep within your heart. Talk to Lakshmi ~ she will hear you and respond.

You can also just chant her seed mantra, which is one word ~ SHREEM ~ 9, 27, 54 or 108 times. Or just chant it all day in your mind...the more you chant, the more you connect with the Goddess. Keep chanting ~ out loud and silently. Miracles will happen!

i´m chanting OM SHREEM KLEEM NAMAH SHIVAYA, it is ok to add SHREEM an KLEEM to this mantra?? i´m looking for self knowlegde and also prosperity and abundance in my life. I feel a tremendous power and peace with this mantra.

Hello. Thank you for sharing this beautiful chant with us. I'm very new to Chanting and Lakshmi, can I ask would it be ok If I was to do this chant with many people in the home. I live with many roommates and Im never alone, so would having so many different engerys in the home, would that effect the chant in a negative way? Yes...you can chant it with many people at home. I do not think it would effect anyone in a negative way. Most likely the opposite would occur.

Raji: I believe I may have meaning of this beautiful mantra. It was given to us by Bhagavati & Anandhi last year prior to the Homa's. I'll see if I can find it for you. We just finished our Navaratri Homa's, and of course this beautiful mantra was sung during the 3 nights for Goddess Lakshmi.
