  • Bradely effect is isolated in some parts of the country. A lot people said that there was a gun rights inniative on the ballot in 1982 and that caused Republicans to surge to the polls because Bradely was for pro-gun control. I don't believe that. I believe the bradely effect happened in Virginia in 1989 with Doug Wilder when he ran and won the governorship. Wilder was way ahead in the polls before election day/exit polls on elec. day and barely one 50-49 to an extemely weak white Rep. opponent.

  • jibberjubbers: "Didn't happen, did it? America proved the 'Bradley Effect' tonight to be a stupid myth."

They didn't count on Obama being such a great (snicker) community organizer. Bet the McCain campaign wishes they'd had one of those.

  • I think there was a reverse Bradley Effect. Whites may have been afraid of telling their racist friends they were voting Barack. But when they got into the voting booth, they couldn't escape the fact that Republicans had fucked up our country so much that they couldn't vote McCain.

I know plenty of lifelong Republicans who voted Democrat for the first time in their lives - for Barack Obama. Virginia and other longtime red-states-turned-blue tell the story.

  • Didn't happen, did it? America proved the "Bradley Effect" tonight to be a stupid myth.

  • Obama Wins Bitches!!!!

  • Obama's loss will undoubtedly be blamed on the race issue..too bad he is supposedly even leading now despite his shady terrorist connections, his desire to "fundamentally change" America and the world, his hypocritical excessive spending of hundreds of millions on a campaign and then talk about the cuts that need to be made and spreading the wealth around. Do you really know who he is?? Pray for a McCain win so that we can continue to strive for the American dream that America was founded on!!

  • Cell phone effect???

They suggest that liberals have morecell phones and less landlines? This is nuts

The Bradley Effect is not about racist, it's about the use of alleged racism by black candidates and their supporters to beat any criticism of their candidate.

This has done in the current race and in the Democratic primary.

It is just far to easy to say your for Obama than explain why your not a racist for supporting the white guy.

  • People people, look where this happened!

    CALIFORNIA!! THE MOST LIBERAL STATE!

Just imagine how this will take play in other states where Obama is tied or barley ahead.

We shall just have wait to see!

A sweep for Obama or a shocker for McCain.

  • hmmm. Interesting.

  • Skin color doesn't not determine how your brain functions. Looks like somebody flunked biology. Uneducated foul.
