Video's shitty, but this is a big ass scorpion with big ass claws. Big ass claws = pis ass venom. That's why the cat's fine. Actually I think very few species would be able to kill it.

If one of my cats saw a scorpion, they would stare at it for a while, then jump into the air and run away.
Btw, maybe you need to feed your cat more often. o.o

Not necessarily. My boyfriend's cats routinely eat insects and arachnids. We feed them three times a day.

A scorpion will deliver a potent sting right from the start if it is provoked or severely handled (like being stepped on by a human). A cat would probably not step on a scorpion 'by accident' and it wouldn't have the same impact if it did.
