  • read a few post down

  • The last two comments show that both a respectable Person and a child can like Villa. ;)

  • I don't know about that, you see the die hard supporters in toronto and you think, maybe it will work. I know the english love their history, but things do change sometimes.

  • Villa was luckily they got the win, it should have been a draw

  • Just flicking through here, reading alot of obnoxious americans talk about how the MLS will be bigger than EPL? Impossible is all i really need to say. Thats ridiculous!

  • You never heard of Cuju?

  • It didnt evolve from anything, we made it from the start.

  • I meant it evolved out of an asian game

Just like hockey evolved out of a British game

  • Look it up if you don't believe me, we touched on it in History because it was what the Victorians did for leisure, as industrys paid for their workers to make football teams. Which is why most football teams originated from Factories!!

. England invented football, that's why we have and always will have the best fans, the best league and the best teams in the world.

So like i said, get your facts right, the asian version died out, we play the english version and that's fact.

  • I'll embarrass MYself?

    irony...

  • wrong, football was invented in England, we were playing with 250+ on each team free for all with a pigs bladder as the ball. Then in the 1890s it got rules and regulations.

Look it up before posting facts, you'll embarass yourself if you don't

  • i respect you for saying that 100%. good luck to bristol this term.

  • I'm from Canada, hockey IS the national sport. I love to watch it catch on in other parts of the world.

Now, you do know that football wasn't invented in England right, it came from Asia. All my aunts, uncles, grandparents and my father were born and raised in Liverpool, are you trying to suggest that when they came over, they should just forget all about football because they don't want it to "Catch on"?

It's inevitable, it's just going to keep getting bigger, regardless.

  • That's because hockey isn't "your" national sport. It's american football by the looks of it. And i doubt many americans like to see the idea of their national sport catch on in england. Like the new york giants played at wembley, seems wrong for you as its your sport and us at we don't tend to like it too much. it's like Liverpool Vman utd; one of the biggest fixtures in the english game, playing a league match in america, it isn't right. In a way I love football and my club, that's all I need.
