One of the few times Popeye endorsed anything but his trademark spinach (in the '30s, on his own daily radio show, he often "pitched" his sponsor's product, Wheatena). Allen Swift, who was also host of WPIX's daily "POPEYE SHOW" in New York {as "Captain Allen Swift"} from 1956 through '61, is the ol' swab's voice here instead of Jack Mercer, who wasn't available.
