Hey- ever get to the states? Gotta do some dogfighting! We made some mods on the Hawksky that turn it into a SUPER responsive aerobatic fighter- check out our videos at killerplanes on youtube- one is called "wind dancing"- check that one out and contact me for the mods info (we'll be opening soon at killerplanes on the web)

More wind = Less wing loading
This plane is pretty much at mercy of the wind. You should get something with less airfoil per weight (wing loading) to fly in wind.... like a jet.
Looks like good times, though.

The Hawk Sky is a lot of fun to fly. Had mine out today with lots of wind and definitely a different kind of flight with lots of wind. Keep on rolling....:)

i put 11.1 2800 30c, 2600 kv outrunner BL, 30A esc in my wildhawks (+ ailerons) one of them i clipped 6 1/2 " off each wing tip -- fast banks look cooler cuz the wings arent bending hardly now

i upgraded my wildhawks to fly in 20 mph wind - its fun- i havent found an SDM radio thats usable yet , tho, but thats kool- good 72 radios are for sale now that everyone but me is changing to 2.4 ghz

@pudd750 - My mate has clipped his wings...WHAT A BEAST!! Soooo responsive. No intention to change to 2.4ghz here. My mate runs FPV so dont want to muck around with interference.

this came with a brushless -(or not) - there are two versions - did this one? was it junk? nice flying in a gale

Came with buget brushless - upgraded to bigger lipo's and bigger motors - and bigger esc's...
