That golden cartridge, it held the game data. The legendary game data of a legendary game. A game well deserving to be known to the world. That game, The Legend of Zelda, gave us a new hope in the world of gaming. Every time we replay the original NES version, or Ocarina of Time, or even Majora's Mask, we all get chills every time. The Zelda series is the final resting place of all of nostalgia. Thanks for the memories, Link!

and yet it still sounds better than most of the music today. anyone else remember the TV commercial for this? Some guy in black running back and forth yelling "Zelda!" and "Octorocs!" and "Tic Tikes!" or some wackadoo trash. I love the eighties (I was roughly 8 when the game was released).

This was one of the first games we got with our NES. It feels like soo long ago. I'd say probably when i was 5 or 6 years old. I still have memories of this intro and how I felt as a kid. To me, as a kid this game felt so hard and involved. Now I see it as a breeze for a better word.
