How to derive a CA ERwin logical data model with names in mixed (Initial) case from a physical model where the names are in CamelCase

  • @lchngdng - It's a feature of the Name Mapping Options that you can convert the words in the first column into either the words in the second (Abbreviation) column or the third (Alternate abbreviation) column of the glossary. You might want to use the Abbreviation column for Entity to Table mapping and the Alternate Abbreviation for Attribute to Column mapping for example.

  • Good demo. Just one thing not clear to me: what is the difference between Alternate Abbreviation vs Abbreviation?
