I like your vid clip and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out my video clip of some very rare 1934 tobacco cards of old and ethnic musical instruments.

Catinnahat, you sound great! For us that can't pick-up a tune by ear, Fireman's Dance Cotillion is in Phillips Fiddle Tune Collection Volume 2.

Hey catinnahat! Those tunes are great! I love quite a few of Jehile's tunes. I've downloaded the entire tune list available on the website and made a cd out of them. Keep those great fiddle tunes coming!

Thanks. I listened to the recording of Jehile playing this tune many, many times. Whenever I play this tune, all I can hear is Jehile's version playing in my mind. I've never heard this tune anywhere other than from the recording you made of Jehile. Thank you so much for making that recording!

The name of the tune is "Fireman's Dance Cotillion". I learned it from a recording by Jehile Kirkhuff. There is a biographical website about him at: http://www.jehile.com/ and on that website there is a link to a recording of his version of that tune. It is one of my favorite tunes. I read somewhere that Jehile won a fiddle contest in Texas the 1950's by playing that tune.
