Visit my website at http://www.junglejoel.com - All the parts for this inexpensive vacuum pump came from "Big Box" stores in the U.S., and are easy to find. The air compressor was purchased at Kmart, and the food storage jar is from Target. Please rate and comment, thanks!

  • how did u drill the glass?

  • @arsacd -it's plastic. I just used a regular set of drill bits.

  • What level of absolute vacuum does this make?

  • @TheAnachronist -I haven't measured it yet, but maybe in the future I'll post something.

  • can it actually suck dirt??

  • @mizzbluer3ui3r -it is not designed for vacuuming up dirt. It's designed for pumping the air out of a container.
