Its funny that even very good pianists have trouble getting this etude to sound even. At very slow speeds it is trivial, but presto it becomes very difficult and you can hear that both Koblar and Lisitsa are having trouble with this. Strangely, I think that the performance by Aimi Kobayashi also on youtube sounds more even, which really brings out a flowing melody, instead of something that sounds choppy.
