aspergianstar2009 raywilliamjohnson copyright rant

Well now its clear that RWJ doesn't have permission to use the clips in his videos. I talked to the uploader of the original video, and he told me that RWJ used it without his permission, and now look - RWJ's video has been taken down for copyright infringement. So now the question is... why is he allowed to keep making money as a Youtube partner, when ALL of his videos contain content that he didn't get permission to use? It clearly says in Youtube's Partnership TOS that you cannot be a partner unless you have the rights to ALL MATERIAL YOU USE.

Investigation about raywilliamjohnson and if he gives any rev to the people who's videos he reviews on his channel. I am sure they do not give him permission so that has to be a copyright infringement on youtube.

Others like Fred and meekakitty have gotten their status from hard work and not using other peoples footage.

Really morally anyone using others footage should pay them royalties. But in my opinion anyone who is at the top of youtube should be there on their own steam and not by piggybacking others.

nigahiga. is another youtuber who made it to the top slot simply by cloning himself and using various ways to fool the audience pretending to be different people. But he never reviewed others work!!

Ok so its not Youtubes job to challenge someone for copyright permissions but it is Youtubes job to set forth rules and make sure those rules are being followed to create an "equal opportunity" in revenue sharing. If I ran a business I have the right to drug test and not sit around waiting for his dealer to come tell me he is using.... Youtube can view its top video contribs and see if any policys are being violated. Youtube DID create the policys that I see on my screen and its obvious that those rules are not being followed on MANY of the top contribs. Someone would have to be blind and ignorant to not see this.

Sometimes I personally feel that Youtube had changed so dramatically that I wouldn't be shocked if in 5 years the site will be completely pay per view starring Shane Dawson only. I feel sometimes that Youtube has stepped on the heads of the people that helped build it. No videos no youtube.. no viewers no youtube and its that type of greed that buries companies. (Youtube reminds me of ebay a lot. That whole community feel then the company just gets greedy) The internet is always bringing something new and better every so many years so wouldn't it be smart to take care of your family and let us all grow together. But no, money has gotten in the way and its so obvious.

Would you not agree that putting new faces on the front page would only be beneficial to the end project? I mean all of these daily featured repeats have HUGE sub's and could run a long time on those and if you put someone smaller on the front maybe they get big and then you have 2 cash cows instead of them shoving the same crap daily in my featured box and then they don't even allow you to close the featured box... thankfully that let me move it down the list. Sometimes I wonder if the top contribs got big and got the front page or are they big because of the front page. Because honestly I see worthless talent making the front pages and their content is garbage. Not all... but many.

What RWJ does comes under "fair use" in US copyright - the clips he shows are for review or satirical purposes. Unfortunately, I don't think you quite grasp that concept. He works hard with his videos, makes good content and that's why he's made a career out of his show. Sorry, but you made a boo-boo with this one - and your general tone throughout the video comes across as sour grapes.
