Yeah we have caught Boca well overhead just did not have video with us...at 230lbs I was struggling to stay with the wave this day...but add a nother foot or two and it is fast and long with some crazy sections...Pura Vida

It is a walk just look out for thr crocodiles on the river side...I never like to be the first to paddle out

sounds like you guys were prepared! you know there's websites that tell you how the surf is going to be. why would you leave Hermosa to surf there when it's running 2-3 feet. Actually scratch that. I love when i'm down there and score a sicky peak to myself cos all the yankees are driving around all over the place. I know the ticos love it too. too bad know body told you. it's only a 3/4 mile ride, on a sizable south, sw swell. like over 6 feet. Good on ya though mate. you got it wired bro!

It is tradition...one of favoirte spots no matter if it going off or not...something about a long left for a goofy footer... no doubt hermosa is the place. Cuaght this break once at 6 feet

Back in the 90's I was lucky enough to catch it on a day when it was 8' - 10'. (It is such a magical place)

We used to ctach it in the mid 90's when no knew much about it and were run off by the dark water. Only caught a couple times that big... one of our favorites
