Also, I think that at one point you simplify your message to the point of inaccuracy. When you say that the number of students coming out to march against the budget cuts had been steadily declining between 2004 and 2008, the implication is that the there were marches against budget cuts to California higher education every year over that period, when to my knowledge there were none at all.

Awesome video, man. It's really effective at producing an emotional reaction of excitement and inspiration in the viewer that increases over the course of the video, until at the end you are in amazement, and soul feels lifted by seeing the power of the people being expressed.
I think that this video could be a great promotional tool for bringing people to marches in the future.
