Afghanistan: Worse Than Vietnam?

The Afghanistan War is now the longest war in U.S. history. If an end-date isn't set, we could be there forever. We want a responsible withdrawal that's complete no later than December 2011.

As Pentagon Papers whistle-blower Daniel Ellsberg says in our new video, "It was always a bad year to get out of Vietnam." We need to make sure the same doesn't happen with Afghanistan.

Casualties in the middle east are 6K...Nam had 50K. Now, we average a war evey 20 years....the next one will give you a lot to bitch about. A real war like WW2 where 70,000,000 lives were lost...

We pull out now, the Taliban regroup and 9/11 happens again. Maybe eventually we can pull out and have more of a police action there, like we have in many different countries. Lets stop saying when it should end, and SUPPORT OUR TROOPS. Maybe this was has no clear ending, but 7,000 men have been lossed so we can live safely in America, and not have to worry about planes being hijacked and crashed into our buildings...
