This is a simple model of a Hydraulic Elevator constructed as part of the science fair competition for middle school. In this video the student goes through the steps of the experiment and proves pascal's law which was " If pressure is applied to an enclosed fluid it will be transmitted undiminished or not decreasing in all directions". In the experiment she brought 2 syringes, a plastic tube, a jug of water, a match box, a shoe box and some construction paper and decorating pics. She used the shoebox to represent the building. and the construction paper for decoration. She also glued the matchbox to one syringe and connected both syringes and filled them with water. Then she glued the body of the syringe with the matchbox to the inside of the shoebox. After that she cut some holes based on the size of the elevator to represent the floors. And here starts the experiment when she presses on the loose syringe which isn't glued to anything.... Watch the video to see what happens!!!!
