This is a live recording of popular Newfoundland singer Ron Hynes. Ron is an icon on the Canadian East Coast music scene. I shot a concert at the St. John's Arts and Culture Center back in June 2005. The concert was called "Gospel Expolosion". It was organized by my friend Gospel singer Jimmy Lee Howard and his wife Madonna. It featured many different well known Newfoundland singers, each doing their favourite Gospel tune or 2.

Hi Kathy...Congratulations; you've discovered one of the true singer songwriter legends of Canada or any other Country for that matter. I spent 14 years in radio broadcasting, from the late 80's on, where i first heard Ron. One of the greatest albums i've heard since that time is "Cryer's Paridise".
