Very old video showing an A model with filthy smoke belching engines (that was fixed). I took part in a vortice study on the drop zone enviroment back in 1987. We mounted smoke generators on the wingtips using the landing lights for the electrical circuit. Did they tests staging out of Davis Monthan (we came out of Travis) and flying around Yuma. Tests ran about 2 weeks. I have video of it and should transfer it to DVD and then YouTube. Thanks. Check out my video of the USAFJill Metzger Scandal!

They do fall at something like 900 ft. a minute, but it is already at the ground. Once they get to the ground they just move laterally. Check the Far-aim if you're a pilot.

it does its creates a swirling disturbance as you can see....they move outward from the plane not down
