In 1994 Imam Dr. Syed Alawi a-Malikim from Makkah and other scholars such as Imam as-Shah
Ahmad Noorani Siddiqui al-Qadiri(Pakistan) attended the annual International Milaad Conference in Canada. At this event a number of lectures were delivered explaining the belief of the Ahl Sunnah wal Jamaah. Here we present a lecture by Imam Syed Alawi al-Maliki RA in which he outlines the adab of the Sahaba Ikram Radi Tala anhum ajmaeen towards Syedinna Rasoolulaah Salalaahu alahi wa Sallam. Imam Maliki explained to the audience, numbering in thousands, why it is necessary to beceome familiar with the Seerah of The Holy Prophet SAWS and the importance of celebrating the Honour and Dignity of Rasoolulaah all the time in Mawlid-an-Nabi al-Sharif gatherings and hadiras.
