Concordia's first annual Charity Challenge Game saw the Thunder Women's Volleyball team host the men's hockey team to a best of three game volleyball series. In the autumn of 2011 the Thunder Women hosted a volleyball clinic on campus. One of the participants had her experience cut short with a leukemia diagnosis, so the ladies decided to raise money in support of leukemia research at the Cross Cancer Institute. They, along with the men's hockey team (who were dressed badly, but good sports) raised $1258.
They raised a lot of cash... wow. Go Concordia!
