Luke,
Your dad was the man. He was probably the only news guy I ever trusted. Sorry about your loss.

i love luke

Well said luke my friend well said. i miss tim as a journalist as a person too. idk if he was a neutral journalist, not really matters to me BUT to me he seemed like one. not much if any bias in one direction or the other. the proof i have is BOTH mccain, and obama showed up. that to me says it all. this was a beautiful eulogy

Tim Russert was the only journalist that I "BELIEVED' ...The rest of the journalists, both on TV and the paper,s are and always will be biased one way or the other..I miss Tim Russert,,,,,as does those that miss honest journalism.

@raydog699 ...you got that right.
Now fatty junior gets gigs on the weight of nepotism.
I couldn't agree with you more-this country is going to hell and we can thank 'journalists' like Russert, who shilled for the predatory ruling class by refusing to discuss the federal reserve, false flag terror, and the other issues ruining this country because he thought his masters would take care of him.

A son's love for his father is admirable. But the rest of us have to live with the effects of his father's incessant sucking up to washington politics. Believe me, we , and our children bear the brunt of his malicious hate--too strong word for a weak-ass person,so I'll invent a new one:suckupness.

I always enjoyed and learned a lot from watching "Meet the Press: and had the utmost respect for Tim Russert. I think Luke did a fine job of honoring his dad at a most difficult time.
Fuck you.
You throw sarcasm in the face of a 22-year-old who loved his father and spoke about it, eloquently and powerfully. He's a credit to his family and his father's single greatest achievement.
Who would speak for you so powerfully? What have you accomplished that would bring people from around the country to celebrate your life and mourn your loss?

I would never missed sunday "Meet the Press" almost all my life here in America. I don't know why but Tim's charismatic smile hooked me into being fanatic of him. He was my number one of all MSNBC personalities, he was every where. When I see on TV, Remembering Tim Russert, I stopped everything I am doing; called my husband and disbelief of what was going on. I miss Meet the Press. The whole world will miss him. Luke you are blessed to have a father like him, other than you look like him....
