This is a very large polar bear at the Como Park Zoo in St. Paul, MN. The whole time we were there the bear was repeating this movement back and forth in the water...It was cool to watch but it was sad too...it made you feel bad for the bear...but he/ she's probably better off at the zoo than in the melting antarctic...

  • Neil and Buzz are my absolute favorites! I love their new enclosure. It has two much bigger pools and it is more natural. There is also an inbetween the two enclosure area where you can see just how big they are!

  • Lol, EVERY time I was at Como Zoo, the polar bears would do the same thing: one would pace back and forth, and the other would swim in the exact same fashion the WHOLE day. At least they're getting a bigger exhibit :)

  • i am SOOOO Glad that they are making a bigger place for the Poler Bear =DDD he's going to be soooo happeh =D

  • Ha i was there too
