  • The exhaust is handmade from stainless tubing. I need to fabricate by myself, to clear the crossmember, because the riviera have headers and there where some clearance issues at the rear stabilizerbar with a original exhaust system.

Best way to a new exhaust system is to go to your local mufflershop and let them build you a new exhaust.

  • It is a '72! I replaced the trunklid for a '71 and I also replaced the taillights for a '71

  • This is sureal!

  • The 1971 Riviera also features GM's "Full-Flo" ventilation system and two large deck lid louvers are prominent on the trunk lid. (Unfortunately, under certain conditions a vacuum was created that sucked rain and exhaust back into the car and the "Full-Flo" ventilation was redesigned and the louvers were removed from trunk lid for the 1972 model year.)...this car is set up like a 71, its cool, but why?

  • @themidnightcruiser Man, your car is just astonishing. Are there anymore vids of this?

  • thank you for not putting 22' rims on it

  • @themidnightcruiser it looks like you replaced the rear bumper too, that one one your car is from a 71 rivi..

why not just keep it stock?

    i own a 71, but i also like the 72's....

  • @herbienbrian2 So very, very true. The current and last generation are pitiful compared to this.

  • @woodbine66 Hell yeah! Before 1980 anyway... :/

  • Thank God for American car design!!

  • Lucky ... XD nice car man

  • Sweet! I added this to favorites. Mine has the stock compression and a Crower level 2 cam. If I ever get around to rebuilding it again I'll do high compression and that TA cam you are using, sounds like it still idles good and has a nice lope.
