Nice save at 2:55. Do you teach the classroom portion of NASA or THSCC HPDEs sometimes? I remember having excellent classroom instruction that weekend from a guy that drove a yellow 350Z. Anyways, GREAT RIDE!!

Thanks for the comments. At the time I was a student. I am now an in car instructor for THSCC. The reason I tried to save it was because I really wanted to catch the vette and knew I wouldn't if I lost it. Surprising what a little motivation can do for you.

the driver of that vette sucked, that thing could whip anythings ass w/ the right driver

Actually, you are wrong. The driver of the vette is a good driver. It takes three things to go fast on a race track:
1. A capable car
2. A capable driver
3. Desire
In this case, the car was definetly capable of lap times faster than my car. The driver was a good driver. I was able to pass him because he simply did not want to push his car as hard as I was willing to push my car.
