Should have been in high 4 to get the tires spining faster same as in mud, oh and I live in Idaho and do drive in the snow quite a bit. But nice your buddies helped. When is snows here we go out and look for people to pull out, lots of fun.

@verasforzza I read all your posts. You sir are an idiot.

wheel speed would of helped the jeep out but it appeared to be in 4lo instead of 4h.

Chain up!

Try Airing down your tires maybe?!!?!

While it wasn't the car's fault in this video, I still like the FJ more. I'm not entirely sure why. I just like it more.

Winch up it if you can't drive it.

I would think with both axles locked it would have gone without pushing. Then, it's also my experience that photos/movies do not even come close to showing the true mud, snow, and hill conditions. Also, momentum makes a big difference. Let's face it, with enough momentum, even a 2WD could probably make it through:)

The hill is a lot steeper than it looks. It is also about 3/4 of a mile from the bottom to the top so it is hard to get momentum over that distance. Underneath all that snow there is a layer of ice.

Does that Rubicon have front and rear lockers? Were both front and rear locked?
