Best car of my life thus far was a '94 318i. Over 220k and EVERYTHING was still perfect. Sold it to buy an '08 Audi, hopefully I won't be disappointed, though there just doesn't seem to be much mystery to maintaining the simple 4-cylinder Euroboxes.

had a e30 323i, had it lowered and it stuck to the road like glue, brilliant car. Have a 116i now, slides all over the place in snow.
