  • I remember my dad playin a 8-track he had with Tom T on it and it had a track where they were down in the pasture or hog pen and this feller was trying or buying a car....can you name that tune?

  • @red2965 Nothing comes to mind and unless you know a part of the title name, I can't help you. I have too many Tom T songs to have to listen to them to find it.

  • Tom T Hall the story teller ! love him too thank you Marcus for the post ☺

  • @australianfan Wonder if Tom could write a book and make it as interesting and pleasing as his songs. LOL!!!

  • @oldtexasmusic he has written several books check it out//

  • @mikejoi OK, I'll google that.

You rock you got the right one don't really know why I thought it was Tom t tho' that 8-trackmust have disappeared before I got the ones I got from his estate.. I have tried to play and copy them but a bunch were wrecked with that foam center before and some seperated themselves at the part where they were joined together so those have long gone bye -bye. appreciate your come back have a happy thanksgiving.

  • @red2965 Right off the top of my head, it sounds like "Classified" but that's a song by C. W. McCall, not Tom T. Hall. If I recall correctly, it came out at about the same time that Tom T was having his heyday, and it has the same rambling "here's what happened today" feel to it that a lot of Tom T's songs have. ("Dog's name is Frank.") Post back and let me know if that's the song you were thinking of; it'll bug me for days!

  • I hear Yah Dad...

    I will
