Here's the whole gang - Daddy just got done building the tree stand for the inside of the house tonight. It rolls, you can clean it easily and THEY ALL LOVED IT. They had fun climbing around and exploring it.

And, oh yeah, there is a new one - MR. BONKERS - an english budgie - bigger than a parakeet. My daughter got him for my birthday. He's very cute and fitting in nicely with the fam.

  • Wow! Is the bottom a Christmas tree stand.

  • @trainingyourparrot I get how it may look like that - but no. It is a wooden platform and the other pieces of wood you see are just supports for the branch.

  • I'm wanting to make a tree for my darling gold cap. I know you can only use certain trees. What kind did you use?

  • @highplaces100 This was made from the bottlebrush tree we have in our back yard. It can also be made from java wood - though way more expensive.
