I SWEAR I just got scammed with brakes at Midas. I had all 4 new pads put on my car 11 mo. ago. Had my car inspected at Midas & they took apart my brakes & said the front pads were worn down....BS. I honestly feel they took my good pads & replaced them with worn down ones & too much of a coincidence that started making noise a week after...prior to this they were silent. Pads don't wear down that quickly in that span of time.

@sdeery ..yes at times the cross drilled rotors tend to crack....slotted disc with out the cross drill is good enough...if any 1 wants better stopping power ..but they do wear out your pads a little faster..but than you do get a little better stopping power ...don't skip on the money on the pads...the lesser grade pads boils very easy..and when it does...you cant slow stop fast enough.....this I have try ...so get good pads and do a good brake job..research is key

The proper term he was looking for is drilled and slotted rotors All the rotors on the tabled are vented. The holes and slots are there to provide a path for the gas created during braking. What he didn't mention is that the drilled rotors have a nasty habbit of cracking.

yes, i had purchased a set of rotors from a local autozone...
on the box it was labeled "made in china"
i promptly returned them and went to advance auto parts instead :P
