Lingenfelter L/28 OPTIMA Challenge Runs

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering built the L/28 from conception to competition in just over four weeks. The L/28 hit the track to go head to head with the fastest street legal performance cars and some of the best drivers in the USA. With Dave Mikels, a Spring Mountain Rookie, behind the wheel the L/28 tore a chunk out of the road course. The hot laps at the OPTIMA Challenge were the first hot laps for both Dave and the L/28. Dave turned a 1:51, the 9th Fastest Time of the Day. This was faster than all the other Modern Muscle that ran The L/28 was 2 seconds faster than a 'track' Shelby GT500 and 10 seconds faster than the next fastest 5th Gen Camaro. We are not done. There is a lot left in the L/28 and we plan to bring it all out with our partners at Lingenfelter.
