well done for actually recording your child! thats exactly what needs to be done...doctors ALWAYS ask for footage of a seizure. putting it on youtube well done again hun!...its called spreading awareness .for those idiots whom are saying why do this..and its for attention! it is not RAS is a very real condition and means that their heart and breathing temporarily stops for a few seconds...the seizure is from lack of oxygen to the brain!! its the bodies way of saying OMG whats going on. x

I was wondering, from what age did he start to do this and was it allways this severe? My son have had breath holding spells but it's not as often anymore (he's now 22 months, started 6m to 12 and now 18 months until now) But now it isn't as frequent but it's getting more severe every time... docters say it's just bhs. not epileptic without any tests.

@pixie1310 when children have frequent seizures like that (sometimes even daily) you can't call 911 every time. She probably did the first time but you have to learn to cope with it because she will get through is as long as the parent knows what to do.

Thank you for sharing what must be a tremendously difficult issue for your family. Information like this helps so many other families with their concerns for their own children. It takes courage and bravery to meet the needs to a sick child, but even more to share it with the public.
