  • Thanks for putting this up. It's always useful to watch yourself dance and play and be your own critic. Also really glad you caught the bladder bursting moment!

    Ollie (musician)

  • @olimandolin Cheers Ollie. Was a great afternoon when you all performed there. And pleased I managed to capture some of the dancing. I'll be sure to film the 140th tour when you come by this way again. Best wishes. james:)

  • Always nice to see the Morris Dancers

  • @howarth004 Thanks David.

  • James this was a utube dream wasn't it ? running into this !! What is the history of the Traveling Morrice ?? haven't heard of them of course :-) who are they and what's the dragon?? all about ? LOL This looks like a really fun place to spend the afternoon !! How far is it from your house? Do you ride your bike? Ok that's enough questions for one post ! LOL LOVE THIS James... thanks for posting.,,love seeing the culture there.... this is so cool and LOVE THE COWS at the end !!

  • @NewOrleansWoman Haha, lot's of questions there Shelley. I'll have to pm you after I do more research as the 'morrice' is steeped in history. This particular group has reached the 86th anniversary of the original Travelling Morrice Tour of 1924. They originated down in the Cotswolds. These guys come from all over the country to do these tours. Glad you like it Shelley. james x.

  • @MovingWithThePast Always enjoy traditional customs James

  • @connordaniel23 Was that a dragon then? Somebody said a hobby horse when it was first spotted. Last night James thought it might be a sea creature as some of the dances have a nortical theme. Like the pub idea. I'll have a pint of Stoweford Press cider please. Cheers for watching Connor. james:-)))

  • @connordaniel23 Hi Connor. I'm amazed you could see this yet as it's only just finished uploading. I think it's still processing. You've seen it before even me. haha. Yeah, big spaces, that's weird.--- Anyway, glad you like it. It's a great place, and when I spotted the Morrice dancers, just had to film them. They're always fun to watch. Great to see the pigs bladder explode, that bit was funny. And, the canelside pub is good too. Just sitting watching the boats and people doing daft things.

  • What's going on with all the big spaces

in my comments...??? Between each line LOL
