@pathachiever11 Bhaji,
Unfortunately not everyone can understand the right meaning of scriptures. Even "renowned interpreters" might miss the point.One has to be careful in relying on any version. Dharam taan ik hee hai, jisda literal matlab hai Parmatma nu apne andar Dharan karnaa. God Bless.

@TheBrooklyn67 @TheBrooklyn67 Veer jee, you are right. We cannot say that other religious books are incorrect, because as a Sikh we should respect every religion. The point that kabeer jee makes is in the second panktee, which is ttuk dham karaaree jo karahu haajir hajoor khudhaae. This pankatee is what matters to a gursikh, as it says that you should conquer your mind (ttekayo) and see waheguru jee in all.

I listen to this Shabad every time i am in a car.....finally I find this on youtube....now I will listen everytime i use the laptop......
Again If I know the meaning of the bani it reaches deep inside me. And Bhai Harjinder Singh has explained it very nicely......
The word Iftraa (Iftra'an) which means "allege", in arabic does not mean useless("belode") as wrongly suggested by subtitles.
The irony is that Bhagat Kabir ji says, people who allege other peoples religious books as useless are wrong, and by doing so, it does not help our own insecurities( dil ka phikar na jai).
When posting religious scriptures, please be careful. As noble as it is, slight mis interpretation in translation can twist the whole essense of a beautiful composition.

@TheBrooklyn67 Please don't ignore "IF"
Vaiakhia by Bhai Manmohan Singh GGS # 727
The Vedas and the Scriptures are only make-believe, O Siblings of Destiny; they do not relieve the anxiety of the heart.

@PADHRI Bhaji, no offense , but there is no "IF", in the english translation. And "make believe ",?? ; is that what word Iftraa means? Not to my knowledge. Also the point is that if some one makes arguementive statements based on scriptures, then that wont relieve Dil ka fikar. Not that the Vedas will not help in dil ka fikar. The written translation differs from the verbal tarnslation at the begining of video..Any religious scripture read in good faith teaches the same primal truth. Thanks.

@TheBrooklyn67 Thanks for your comments khalsa ji ਇਫਤਰਾ—{ਅਰਬੀ} ਮੁਬਾਲਗ਼ਾ, ਬਣਾਵਟ, ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ।
The Vedas and the Scriptures are only make-believe, O Siblings of Destiny; they do not relieve the anxiety of the heart. If you will only center yourself on the Lord, even for just a breath, then you shall see the Lord face-to-face, present before you. ਹੇ ਭਰਾ! ਜੇਕਰ ਚਿੱਤ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੰਦੀ।
my IF means "ਜੇਕਰ" in punjabi

@TheBrooklyn67 Sorry I am not able to understand your complete confusion, but I am sure just one word or number will not lead us anywhere.
It seems you are a GYANI person, if you can please give right meaning of those lines, you are not agree with. Healthy discussion is always good, no question of offence
Regards

@TheBrooklyn67 Thanks again, All those word meanings used in this video are not created by me, these are from different books, most of them were published 50 years ago.
Now I am trying to understand your point, if we read complete SHABAD or Viakhia, it doesn't mean any relgiouse script is useless. What I feel when we try to get meaning from one word or line it may take us in wrong dierction
Example: My school (School A) is best in the word others are noting, When I never been to "School A"
