Bird won 3 championships while never playing with a great athlete, dealing with significant injuries to his teammates and playing against three great teams, the early 80s Sixers, 80s Lakers and mid to late 80s Pistons. That pretty much says what you need to know about that guy. -- BTW watch the other team's bench 5:00 react to the play and then the over the backboard shot onf the next play. I love how he knocks Cooper on his ass too 6:20

Music's great... I watched Bird in his prime and I almost forgot how deceptively quick he was. 6-10, great shooter, passer and rebounder, plus the pump fakes, jab steps and stepbacks... In today's defensively emasculated league, he would be impossible to contain.
