@PhtmoftheOpra Amen to that one!

In defense of the cellists, most of this song is in treble clef. Give them a break; it's not an easy song. I play violin and it's still not easy.!

my middle school is doing this song because my teacher loves us. the cello section rocks

learning this in school and i thought i might try to how other schools were playing it......no offence but the cellos could use some more work.... what grade is this?
-
One viola?! Come on!

Okay is it just me, or does the part at 7:17 sound like something in a modern pop song? Ugh. I was sight-reading this today and as soon as that part came up, I knew exactly what to play. Did someone use it in their song?
Someone please help me!

its a really, REALLY hard song, (i play the bass) but yes, the ensemble could use work.
-
when the violins were in pizz, the cellos were bad (they could use some work on that) um......after the pizz the cellos were off beat, could use more violas, violins were the best, other than that they were pretty good, in my opinion I give them a 3 out of 5

Terrible the cellos and the bass!

the violinists were fantastic. I liked how you guys pulled everything back together under a somewhat unsteady-sounding start of the Allegro. The only thing that made me wince were the cellos (at 86, 296) but the rest of it was really impressive.
With the size of this particular orchestra, you don't need more than one bass player. I enjoyed playing with Kenneth at All Northwest this year - he was kind enough to share his stand with me :) The cellos really need to work on their intonation. Other than that, good job, guys.

Great articulation in the violins, cellos needed more work.
