NEW PS3 Slim Compared to 80GB PS 3 - Disk Drive Eject Noise

I just got my PS3 Slim and compared the disk drive eject noises of both the slim and the original. The Slim seems to be a lot louder then the old one. It seems to emit more noise and force when ejecting, almost as if its cocking the disk back and preparing to shoot it out.

In fact, when i placed the camera on top of the player and ejected the disk, the force of the ejection was enough to make my camera slide down.

Anyone else notice this? If so, should I be concerned or am I overreacting.

its normal all of the ps3slims sound like this

the sound you hearing sounds different cause the materials used to make the slim models are thinner so you hear it more. the older models were thicker material so it does not sound like that. but i can almost guarantee you that both drives eject the disc in the same manner.

This uploader is obviously a victim of OCD. "You hear that tiny thump noise that lasted for 0.5 seconds. Yeah its driving me nuts. Homeboy probably washed his hands hundreds of times a day and lives in a bubble suit.
