Baby Grayson came home on 12/18. On 12/20 I videotaped the three guinea pigs (Rembrandt, Old Bean and Grayson) playing peacefully on the floor. I wanted to share the video with other guinea pig enthusiasts and the shelter where Grayson was born.

Amber: @twoswimy Wood chips aren't that bad. The first time I used them my guinea pig so excited he was popcorning like crazy! Just sayin' I think he likes them.

@sabresrock17 u can use fleece and u would have to change about every two day for 1guinea pig or puppy training pads same thing but about four days i am a guinea pig lover. ask for more cause there is

You can buy different types of bedding from pet stores - such as recycled paper bedding (much better for pigs than wood chips) OR you can make a fleece bedding like I have in this video - I sewed fleece like pillow cases and filled it with mattress protectors. You have to wash it once a week though - it is a lot of work.

How did you make the ramp at 0:12?

The outside of the cage is made of grids that you snap together to make cubes for storage. I took two grids and bent them into half cylinders, then used zip ties to hold them together. I lined the ramp with fleece so the pigs can run up and down easily.
